Hi, I am running Xibo 1.7.4 on Centos physical server. I would like to move the Xibo to the brand new Ubuntu 14.04 virtual server. I have already installed Xibo 1.7.9 on the Ubuntu 14.04.
Do I have to upgrade the 1.7.4 to the 1.7.9 before moving the Xibo library contents & the Xibo database to the new 1.7.9 server ? or I can just copy the Xibo library contents & the database ?

I’d upgrade it first, then move it, or, install 1.7.4 on your new server, and then move in to that. Don’t try and do a move and an upgrade in one step.
Either way, once you move the CMS to the new server, you need to check the path to the server library is correct in the CMS settings before you do anything else. If you try and upgrade in one step, you won’t be able to log in to the CMS and get to the library settings before the upgrade runs, which may cause the upgrade to fail.
