Line Breaks in RSS

Hello,

I’ve got a feed showing Microsoft service status with descriptions of issues. That feed has a load of line breaks to make it readable. As far as I can see from this forum, Xibo strips out HTML tags such as
because it breaks the ticker. Is there ANY way I can have line breaks in the [Description] field on a ticker?

You can add whatever tags you want to keep to the Allowable Attributes field, and then they should remain in the feed.

You’d enter something like br,p in that field.

However, there’s an upstream bug that prevents that from working, and the rss parsing library that’s used there is currently unmaintained, so unfortunately right now it’s not possible to have those line breaks in there.
