Layouts won't publish

I am running Xibo 1.8 version. I am unable to publish any new layouts. I even deleted the layout, that was playing and tried to publish a new one. It seems the cache isn’t clearing out. Tried many, many things to no success. Advice please

When you say your layouts won’t publish are you saying that you cannot schedule them to a Player? Is the Layout Status showing as valid (with a tick)?
Could you provide more detail as to the steps you are taking and what your setup and what version of 1.8 are you running please?

Xibo newbie. I started out making a slide show video and uploading as video to a layout. It does show valid with a tick. When I try to schedule it I go through the prompts as normal but, the previous layout fails to be removed. The version I am running is 1.8 Revision 108.
To get it to display the following steps are what I take.

Displays --> DropDown --> ScheduleNow --> Select(layout/campaign) --> check ‘always’ --> Display ‘select mine’ -->Save

I am completely new to Xibo, thank you so much for your assistance.

What is the full CMS version you are using?

As you are using Xibo for Android could you confirm that your Player is licensed? Further information on Player licensing can be found here: https://xibo.org.uk/docs/setup/licensing-your-commercial-xibo-player

Could you also go to the Schedule page, use the drop down to select the display you are scheduling to and see what it is showing in the calendar?

Also from the Displays Page, what is being shown in the columns for Status/Authorised/Logged In?

I have removed all campaigns/layouts from the calendar there were several posted their. When I proceed to try and add a new layout, it still won’t publish. Yes, I have a license. In the display section cloud with down arrow, authorized is checked, logged In is checked.

I have posted a new layout, the status is published, and valid. The old is still active.

In order to try and resolve the issue you are experiencing I will need the following info:

  • The CMS version you are using
  • Is your Player licensed as well as Authorised
  • Screenshot of status page

Without the requested status logs I will not be able to fully troubleshoot the issue.
