Layout with data don't show properly on player but good on CMS

Hello there,

First of all, I’m from France, so i would like to apologize for any mistake or misunderstanding that could happen.

We have a CMS on 4.1, and the Android players are on R405. I can make a layout with the design I want, and when i put the Dataset, it show up good from the CMS. Even from the preview visualisation.
But on the player, the dataset don’t show up at all.
I tried to put a video, and the dataset on a layer on top on it, but same result.
Same with a background image, and / or an image added from library.

The data set is simple, it’s a “days since last incident” type of set. so very basic with 2 colomns and 1 row, from the tuto here : Building an 'Hours since last incident' counter with DataSets
And i just changed the formula with the last message from here : Counter to show days from last incident - #10 by alex Since i want a days counter and not a hour now.

Did someone had the same experience and would it be managable to resolve ?

Hello,

Quick update, after several other tests, if it’s not a .mp4 file, it doesn’t show up on the player. Any basic text box or image, won’t show up on the player other than the color I choose for the font with hex code.

Anyone could have an idea ?

Hello,

Another update : I’ve managed to make the image I wanted appear on the display by adding it on the background layout. So now instead of having just a blank page, I got my image. I still can’t see the data set or any other things I put on the layout.
Our CMS is 4.1.0 and the test I perform are on 2 Android 11 displays, dynamic screens IIyama ProLite LH4352UHS-B1 (42.5") and ProLite LH3254HS-B1AG (31.5") Both are on the Xibo app R405.

Anyone can help please ?

Hello,

After really deep investigation, I went into the CMS serveur and checked everything. And I found out that the cache reseting and the cache collection task weren’t properly set up like before.
And after re doing them, I can now see images and Dataset displayed properly.
