Issue adding display

Hi, we have a problem regarding adding a new display. When we try to add a new one we receive this problem:

Client found response content type of ‘text/plain;charset=UTF-8’, but expected ‘text/xml’

We have already tried to change config.xml, default-config.xml file and so one. In this case, we use 1.8.21 for the player and 1.8.12 for the CMS.
P.D: The CMS launches properly when you click on ‘display admin’.

Can you provide more information about this issue?

  • Is this the first Display you have tried to connect to your CMS?
  • Are you receiving any more information or messages where you are seeing the Client found response content type of ‘text/plain;charset=UTF-8’, but expected ‘text/xml’ message?
  • How have you set up your CMS: Docker or Custom?
  • Are you receiving any errors in the Logs section of your CMS?
  • You mentioned that: The CMS launches properly when you click on ‘display admin’, can you be more specific about what this means?

    Docker version 1.8.2

    no, but en apache log "“POST /xmds.php?v=5&method=registerDisplay HTTP/1.1” 500 97 “-” “Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; MS Web Services Client Protocol 4.0.30319.42000)”

    i player option click on display admin run propertly

Thank you for upgrading your CMS to see if the issue was resolved. Can you attempt to connect your display to your CMS again and check the Logs option in your CMS again please?
