Is there a way to test maintenance emails?

We’d like to setup email alerts for when there are issues with our displays, which we sometime happen due to poor wifi connections. I’ve gone ahead and setup the maintenance page, created a scheduled task and it setup email on the server host. The problem is the system doesn’t email me where there is an issue, but does email me when the display has recovered… I tried to simulate the problem by disabling the nic on one of the displays. The max display time out is set to 5 minutes. After re-enabli…

But I cannot seem to determine if emails are/will be sent. I know my SMTP server is working properly as I’ve tested it with Telnet.

I hit the maintenance page and see this:
Email Alerts
Tidy Logs
Done.
Tidy Stats
Done.
Wake On LAN
Done.

Does that mean there are NO email alerts to be sent?

How can I force Xibo to send an email so that I know my configuration (PHP) is working correctly?

It means they’re either globally disabled or turned off on each of your individual displays. You would normally expect to see some dots or letters underneath Email Alerts to show the status of each monitored display (from memory anyway).

Global alerts were turned on, but individual display setting was not. I changed it to YES on the display. Tested, same result. I rebooted the server just to see and still same result.

I’d expect to see an entry for each display under the Email Alerts section:
