Inconsistent image alignment

Hi there,

i have a slight problem with a layout - i have two regions, one containing a 4-image timeline and one a corresponding 4-texts timeline. The images are set to align to the top center, which they do when the layout is displayed for the first time on my android client - when the layout is displayed the next time, the images are still centered, but not aligned to the top anymore.
The client log does not display any errors and the layout is valid.

Is there something i am missing? Is there a way to fix the alignment so it can not jump?

Thanks in advance

Sundace

Hi Sundace,

I did try to reproduce your issue, but for layout that I created everything is fine on both preview and on android.
Could you please tell me your CMS and player version number that you are using?
Also, could you export your layout for me to test?

Best wishes,

Hi Peter,

thanks for your help - i am using CMS V 1.7.1 and Client 1.7 (Coder Version 53).

I uploaded the exported layout to my dropbox:

Any help or heads up is greatly appreciated - maybe i missed some setting, but i found the two alignment settings to be the right thing…

Best regards

Sundance

Hi Sundance,

I am sorry that I kept you waiting for a response.
I did a lot of testing on your issue and managed to reproduce it and find few problems.
Sadly I can’t offer you any solution at the moment, the issue will be addressed in a future release.

Hi Peter,

thanks a lot for your help!

Is there some kind of temporary fix to keep the images from aligning the wrong way? Is there another type of alignment that will be permanent?

Thanks again

Best regards

Sundance

Hi Sundance,

Until this issue is fixed you can try to do something like this,
In your case(vertical region for images), I can recommend use of vertical images ( like your 3rd and 4th ones)
Because they fit nearly perfectly in your region, they aren’t affected by this bug with alignment on android.
Sorry for the inconvenience.

Best wishes,
