HTML-page not refreshing, stays in cache

Dear,

We want to load an HTML-page into Xibo with the website widget. This works, but the page does not refresh. So new changes are not visible. It seems like it remains in the cache. Is there a solution for this? I cannot put specific meta tags in the for no caching for exame because the HTML-file needs to be overwritten for new changes, but with the same name.

I tried purging the cache, Internet Explorer settings without caching, embedding the webpage. Nothing helps.

Is there something else I can do?

You could try something like this, make two html pages I.E.

  1. morning.html page for morning shift
  2. afternoon.html page for afternoon shift

then set both html widgets in one playlist and set time between changes to load new, second html content page

Dear, thanks for your reply and answer. Problem is is that it needs to be scheduled like it is now. Is there an option to disable the cache completely for webpages?
