How to set region to refresh every minute?

I wanted to have a Greeting Text which changes based on the time of the day, I got the html codes from (http://www.javascriptsource.com/time-date/good-morning-afternoon-and-evening-by-brad-jones-120319202500.html) and put it under embedded.
I set to duration of the region to 1 second & ticked to “Loop”, but the text does not change accordingly to the code.
I have to manually restart Xibo player to update the text.

Any idea what I can do to change?

To answer your question, if you have one item on the region, then it will refresh when the whole layout will reload (when the region with the longest duration will end).

You could have the same embedded item in the region 2 times, both set to 60s duration, then it will refresh every 1 min.
