I would like to use H265 Video without having to use surface view. Its not possible at the moment (DS9 Android Device).
The reason this would be really helpful is:
- Currently H264 videos do not support 4k video in portrait resolution. Xibo will give an error and not play it.
- H265 does work but requires surface view which means the screenshot feature on Xibo cms doesn’t work (black screen).
So what would be great would be to have the ability for H265 encoded videos to work without surface view and so be able to be monitored using the screenshot feature. (Teamviewer does not work either with surface view).
