Forcing presentation with a remote control or other?

Hi,

I’ve got a projet to show some information on a display but we want to force a submission from the client.

Exemple :

The xibo client (Windows 7) show the media during the day (plan with XIBO).
A group tour of the production site arrives at 11:45. We can’t plan what time the group will complete exectement.

The idea would be to connect a USB remote control to the xibo client, the person who manages the group to launch part of the client presentation .

Is it possible to do this with XIBO (script, etc …) ?

Would using Xibo as a screensaver perform the function you require?

Have a PowerPoint presentation ready and loaded on the player, but hidden by Xibo running as a screensaver. As soon as a mouse or other form of input is used, the presentation would appear. You can show the presentation for as long as you want. The Xibo screensaver would automatically reappear once the user-input ceased.
