I’m using xibo 1.8.11 cms web.working on their localhost.I get this error when I want to enter the system

Fatal Error - sorry this shouldn’t happen. SQLSTATE[HY000] [1045] Access denied for user ‘admin’@‘localhost’ (using password: YES)

how to fix this error

Is this custom or docker installation please?

It would seem that the db password is incorrect, as such that’s what should be adjusted to fix the error.

If it is manual installation on the web server please see https://xibo.org.uk/docs/setup/xibo-on-a-web-server and https://xibo.org.uk/docs/setup/prepare-your-environment (if you have /web in the URL then that indicates a configuration issue that should be resolved fist).

we are experiencing an interesting situation. 2 days ago there were localhost /A/ web cms that we didn’t use due to this error. Our cms system at localhost /B/web address was working in the same area. Windows server restarted. A CMS is now running B CMS is not running

Xibo is trying to connect to the database with the values stored in /web/settings.php

It isn’t able to do so, so you’ll need to look at your MySQL server, or that configuration and find out why. As it’s a custom install it’s very hard for us to help you more than that.
