Will XIBO andoird app work correctly with andoird dongles which changes on reboot. I know XIBO CMS integrates with display devices using hardware ID, just wanted to make sure as we have few dongles for which MAC address is not fixed.
It should, but we cannot guarantee that there will be no licencing issues because of it, we’ve made improvements to how we handle devices that do that and I believe in most cases it should be fine.
That being said MAC addresses are supposed to be fixed at production time by the manufacturer, and so them resetting at each power on is a fault in the device in our view.
