Downloading large files to the player

Hello everyone,

I have a problem whith large files (1GB).

I can upload large vídeo files to the library, but when i assign it to a layout, the player doesn’t download it… even if after 2 days i still get the message download pending.

Hi pfb.

Can you check the following:

  • Your player is licenced and connecting to your CMS.
  • The player is licenced so it can download the files it requires.
  • There is enough available space on the Samsung display to get that file and the other files it requires.

Hi,

The issue only occurs if the video is large (1GB+). If I compress the video to, say, 500MB, it loads into the layout without any problems. The player downloads all content and works correctly; the error only happens when the video is large. I’ve already tried to resolve the issue with Xibo support, and they suggested I try to find a solution here.

Have you checked the available space on your Tizen display to be sure there is enough storage available for your Tizen player to download large files above 1GB?
You can check this by going to the Displays page in your CMS, then click the Column Visibility button and choose Storage Available. Can you show me what that column says for your Tizen player?

I don’t think it’s an available space problem because this issue occured from the first day i tryed to upload a video with 1GB.
