Displaying media in Portrait mode

So I need my users to be able to modify a layout that is displayed on a tv that’s mounted in the portrait position. The problem i’m running into is that I cant figure out how to make content in the editor that displays correctly. We are using minix mini 7 that are rooted connected to a planar SL4351. When I design mode in portrait it just scrunches the layout but does not rotate it.

If this cant be done with software, is there a TV that is known to work with the minix devices for portrait mode?

Your device will need to support portrait(screen rotation). The default firmware does not support it.

Then if you design the layout in portrait resolution and have your device set to portrait mode it should be displayed correctly.

At least from the specification on planar website, this screen should support portrait display.
