Issue
We recently got this Xibo player for our office to create a permanent display on the TV in our production breakroom. I created a basic template to showcase the time, the weather, in-office announcement flyers (which are just playlists of images to sort through), and a live productivity-hours tracker for our workers.
Every day since I got it up and running, the display works perfectly for some time, but eventually it freezes up on me. The only way to tell is with the time widget, as it will often be frozen at a random time. The only fix I have is to turn our media player box off and back on. When trying to schedule another item, it does not appear on the display, leaving it completely frozen.
This is the only display I currently have set up and intend to use.
Does anyone have any tips or suggestions on why this could be happening, as well as more effective troubleshooting methods? Manually turning the media player on and off is ineffective and defeats the purpose of what we are trying to do. I am solely looking to have a simple display that runs basically 24/7. No cycling through multiple layouts, just the one layout, at all times.
