I have recently install xibo CMS 2.1.0 on my IIS server and everything is working great apart from when i click on certain menu items e.g. layouts, playlists, media, when i click these menu items i get teh following error

xibo says

DataTables warning: table id = libraryItems - Ajax error. For more information about error, please see http://datatables.net/tn/7

having visited the url I am non the wisers as to what the problem is.

For anyone having a similar problem, this was solved by increasing the Maximum query string from 2046 to 4096 (IIS>Website>request filtering settings).

fixed my own problem by turning on detailed logging and reviewing the issues.
