I get this error trying to install xibo.

Should I leave the password for database empty because it is empty in XAMPP?

Are you creating a new database or connecting to a existing one?

Password to db should never me empty in any case.

I don’t think the installer will accept an empty password. You’ll need to either pre-create an empty database, user and password for Xibo, and tell Xibo to use that, or set a password on your administrative user for MySQL.
