#Help Needed: Configuring Xibo Windows Player (v2) with Xibo CMS (v4) on Docker
I am currently running Xibo CMS version 4 on localhost via Docker, and I have a Xibo Windows Player (version 2 - stable source code). However, I am facing difficulties in configuring the player to properly communicate with the CMS and display content correctly.

Setup Details:

  • CMS Version: Xibo CMS 4.x (hosted on localhost via Docker)
  • Player Version: Xibo Windows Player (version 2 - stable source code)
  • Operating System: Windows Windows 10

Issues Faced:

  • The player does not seem to connect correctly to the CMS.
  • Content does not display properly or does not update as expected.

Welcome to Xibo Community!

Xibo for Windows (XfW) player only works with the same version of CMS. If you have the latest Xibo CMS which is in V4, you will then need to use the V4 version of XfW player which you can find here.
