I have few players under Windows 7 pro and few of them freeze randomly with a specific campain.
There is nothing in the Windows logs after the reboot to explain the problem.
Another thing about the configuration of the players i have 3 screens behind 1 VGA ans 2 display port in 3280x720. When the player freezes, it’s always on video in the format 3280x720.
I tried to disable thumbails cache without succession.
Thanks for your fast reply. I have no errors when I tape “i” on the client. All is ok.
My videos in 3840x720 where in mp4 and natively decoded by Windows 7 and the problem occurs.
I try today to install a codec pack k-lite and use my video in a new format (H264). I launched the task manager and when my videos on 3 screens appears XiboCLient32.exe uses 110Mb on 8Gb.
I will try with this configuration perhaps it is the format of the video which was not encoded correctly and sometime hangs the pc.
The problem persists even with new videos formats and installed video codecs.
On the server I can see this log for one of the player :

But the last contact of the client to the server is 12-06-2017 10:20.
I’m using Client version 1.7.9 and Server version is 1.7.9.
I have few players also with 3 screens (3840x720) and the problem occurs only on players where the layouts contains video in 3840x720 resolution.

I have resolution of my videos lower than 4096x2034.
You can try to test it on one (or even 2) monitors and see if that will work fine, perhaps that resolution across 3 screens 2xdp 1xvga is what’s causing the problem.
Or at least have a video on just two screens and something else on the 3rd one.
To confirm that the issue occurs only with you have one video across all 3 displays.
