Hello, I have one question how can I change the Web browser from my Xibo client? I have a Php code which must run with specific orders which doesn’t support by IE11 or less.
ps: I am on Xibo 1.7.9 and I can’t upgrade at 1.8.0 because I run on Ubuntu 16.04 32bits.
Xibo 1.7 can run an experimental CEF based browser engine. You enable this in the Display Settings profile for your Players.
Note however, in our experience it’s prone to crashing, and as such was removed in Xibo 1.8.
You would be better placed to make your PHP code work with IE11, and then it will work inside Xibo.
The problem is that I use Display:flex in my code css and it’s not supported by IE11. I will try with CEF. Thanks for your answer.
No problem. Keep in mind that is no longer possible when you move to Xibo 1.8
