is it possible to change the user image inside the cms or it is a static image

It is an image in web/theme/default/img/avatar.jpg it would be best to override it in custom theme if you want to change it.
Similar to changing the logo as explained here - https://xibo.org.uk/manual/en/advanced_theme.html
is there no way of changing them depending on the user so i can put staff pictures in
