Can't set default layout for restricted user

I’m on xibo 1.8. Looks nice. Feels good!
I have on question, though.
I’ve got a user with restricted access. He ca only add and edit layouts and schedule them to two given displays.
In the display-menu he can see the state of the display but can’t do any changes to the displays (Klick on the arrow-down right to the display entry shows an empty menu).
That’s all fine except I’d like to give him the possibility to change the default layout.

That looks like the permission issue that we’ve fixed the other day.

1.8.1 will be released in the next few days and should fix the problem you described here.

I’ve just installed 1.8.1 and many of the permission problems seems to be gone.
With dayparting I still have a problem though.
As a restricted user I can and dayparts, they don’t show up in the list though. I cannot use them for scheduling also.
As superadmin I can see and use the formerly created dayparts, though,
