Browser selection

Hi friends,

If I’m right Xibo for Windows uses Internet explorer as Browser.We are involved in a project where a certain reports from Avaya (https://www.avaya.com/es/) must be shown through Xibo Player but Avaya only certificates Chrome as browser and don’t support IE.

My ask is, is there any way to install or choose Chrome as browser in Xibo for Windows.

I have been loookig for answer in the old topics but I haven’t found it.

Excuse me if it is a “basic” question, but I’m not a advanced user

There is no option to choose an alternative browser.

Internet Explorer 11 is all we support. Please be aware there’s a bug in the current installer that means you may be seeing Internet Explorer 7 instead of 11, which will break more complex sites.

This information is applicable to versions earlier than 1.7.8 Since version 1.7.8, the installer makes this change for you as part of the installation process. It assumes Internet Explorer 11 is installed, but will gracefully degrade if that isn’t the case. Hi Alex,

I have done changes in regedit following instructions.

is there anyway to be sure changes has been done well? Is there any way to know if a web page is in fact being shown with IE11?
