I work for a marketing firm that previously used very expensive digital signage software. Our IT guy has created a xibo hosting platform for us to save money. We already have completed graphics sized for the digital screen so we don’t need any of xibo’s design functionality.
I am having trouble finding how -to guides for publishing images directly to the player without edits. Can someone send me a link?

We do not have a guide as such currently, but this is something which will be added (as we are currently revising our documentation). But in the meantime please do follow these steps:
Go to the Media Library and Upload your Image file(s). (You can upload in bulk here if you need to).
Once uploaded, use the row menu (at the end of the image file just uploaded) and select Schedule.
You will be given a set of options, Resolution, Duration in loop. You can provide a duration and resolution to use or leave blank and Xibo will match with the best resolution and use the duration of the file as uploaded.
On saving you will see options to further schedule your image.
Select the Displays(s) you want to show the image on.
Now set the Dayparting; Custom if you want to set specific dates and times, Always will show the image consistently on Displays.
Save.
If you click Schedule from the top of the CMS menu and filter by Display you can see the “Event” in the Grid and Calendar view.
