Black screen by mp4 video

Hello together,
i cannot play a mp4 file. If I play a mp4 file i see only a black screen.

What can i do, for a normal play from mp4 file?

MP4-Player. And Xibo 1.7.9

Xibo for Windows will use Windows Media Player to play videos.

Please press ‘i’ on your keyboard, while Xibo for Windows has focus to show the status window, it should show some information as of why those videos are not correctly displayed.

If we’re talking about Layout preview, then if it can or cannot display videos there will depend on the browser.

If we’re talking about Xibo for Android, then please click on the ‘Status’ button on the action bar to show the status window.
