A client that has just images and a menu board displaying has been using the full bandwidth the last few months. The images are not large but in stats the get resources is nearly 4gb in a month. Could this be due to the ticker constantly checking a folder for updated menu items?
Your Ticker Widget will use bandwidth every time it collects according to the Update Interval you have set for the Widget. If this Update Interval is set to a short period of time, this can use a lot of Bandwidth.
The default Update Interval for Tickers is 120 minutes. You do not need to keep it set to 120 minutes but I would recommend setting it as high as possible for your needs to help reduce the amount of Bandwidth you are using.
