Automate a daily image change

We have a daily timetable showing which clubs runs each day at the school. I have had this working in the past but now cannot get it to work. There is just a blank screen during the time the picture should be displayed.

I have it setup as follows:
A dataset with 2 columns - Day (1-7) and Image (picture of that days timetable)
Then a Dataset Ticker on my layout. The template shows the image with a filter set to Day=DAYOFWEEK(NOW())

Can anyone help get this working again? Or is there an easier way to get the correct image shown on the correct day?
