Are transitions going to be removed from CMS?

I notice that with the 1.8.1 version of the CMS the transition options are gone.

Does that mean that the CMS will not provide transitions anymore OR it is something that will be implemented in the future?

I don’t think there were any changes to the transitions in 1.8 series.

You do still need to enable them on ‘Transitions’ page in CMS before you can use them in layout designer, just like in 1.7 series.
