API documentation source

Hi all,

I am new to Xibo and the forum, so pardon me if this might have been asked before previously.

I had diligently done a search for Xibo API documentation (v1.7.8 or 1.7.9) and reference in forum but nothing came up.

I found this: http://xibo.org.uk/manual/en/api.html and this: Scripting Content Management - A Brief tour of the API (with example code), but both sources did not mention the full documentation about Xibo API. Please advise for source.

1.7 series does not really have full API documentation, it’s much more complete(and tested) in 1.8 series, please see http://xibo.org.uk/manual-tempel/api/

We’d recommend that you wait for full 1.8 release or try the current 1.8 beta if you want to use API.

The 1.8 documentation will be moved to the main manual page once it has been release as stable - at that point we will make the 1.7 documentation available in another location - manual-tuttle.
