Android V3 R308 - having trouble playing videos on Philips 32BDL3350Q

Hello Community,

Need some help.

We have a self hosted CMS V3.3.8

Android player : V3 R308

Display Philips 32BDL3350Q

Issue : When running a Video on the display we encounter

Unsupported Video. Error: Unknown Error, Detail: Device Dependent Error Code 0.

However when we run the same video on our other instance CMS 1.8, we do not encounter any playback issue.

Any suggestions on what could be the problem ?

Thanks for the details about your issue. Please can you make sure that you have set the following settings overrides:

Multiple decoders need to be switched off and the Video Engine you need to use is Android media player.

To set these options:

• Go to the Displays page in your CMS.
• Click the button at the end of the entry for your 3500Q and choose Edit from the menu.
• When the Edit Display window opens, go to the Settings tab (named Profile Settings in older CMS releases) and scroll to the bottom.
• That is where you will find the Overrides shown in my earlier screenshot.
• Save to confirm the change.
• Wait for your 3550Q to connect to your CMS and collect those changes.
• Now restart the Xibo player on your 3550Q, so that we clear all current errors/states.
