i’m using xibo cms and client under windows.
i need to scheduling every 2 minutes, one layout for only 10 seconds, is it possible?
(the default layout have 3 region, the scheduling layout is a fullscreen video,
and in windows there’s no way to overlay region in the same layout)
i’ve try to “scheduling now” one layout, for only 10 sec, but the monitor doesn’t show it.
the same with 30 sec. but if i try 1 minute, all it works.
i’m doing somthing wrong? or is a xibo limitation?
Xibo really doesn’t work well in that scenario.
The way I’d suggest doing that is making sure your 10 second layout has a longest running region at 10 seconds, and then the other layouts have a total duration of 10 seconds.
You then schedule the lot togther (ie all starting and finishing at the same time), and the output you get will be your 10 second layout appearing once in each rotation of the other layouts.
The reason your “schedule now” for 10 seconds doesn’t work, is that by the time the Player knows about it, it’s in the past.

i schedule both for all the day (not repeat), and i assigned the order 1 to “long” layout, and order 2 to the “short”.
evry layout turn only one time and at the end switch to the other.
