During the process of upload media and adding a tag, sometimes I receive this message.
You already own a Tag called ‘tagname’. Please choose another name.
Let me try to explain. Our company wants to display work instructions on how to load the machine, inspect parts, unload the parts and pack the parts on display monitors on the manufacturing work floor.
We have the work instruction as image files. As I upload the image files as media we want to tag each image file with the customer part number. See below for an example.
Hi, to troubleshoot this further could you tell me the CMS version you are using and if this is a Docker or custom web server installation?
Also could you provide some troubleshooting logs as you go through the process resulting in this issue by doing the following:
Go to the Report Fault menu.
Follow the steps and choose Turn On Debugging when the option appears.
Continue with the steps and choose Open in new tab/window when the option appears. Do not close the original window, you will need to return here shortly.
On the new window, please replicate the issue so that you see the returned error.
Once you have replicated the issue, close the new window and return to the original window with the report fault steps.
Continue with the steps and click collect and save when the option appears. This will download a zip file named troubleshoot. If you can pass that onto me in a private message, I can take a look.
Finally continue with the steps and choose Turn Off Debugging to complete the steps.
Also it would be helpful to know if you are adding media from the Library or Layout Designer?
