Xibo windows client shouldn't run as Fullscreen

Hey Community,

We want to start the VLC Media Player by using the Shell Module from the CMS.
Our problem is that the VLC Media Player start in background of XiboClient.

Is there any possiblity to run the Windows XiboClient in background (disable force fullscreening)?

Not really, it’s designed to be always on top as this was a feature requested by many customers / Xibo community members.

Why do you need to show VLC? Perhaps it would be easier to just add this video to your layout or create new layout with it?

As a ‘manual’ work around, you can open Xibo player status window (press ‘i’ on keyboard while Xibo has focus) and then alt+tab to VLC.
