Xibo Windows client dipaying noting

Hi All,

Xibo CMS - Version 1.7.7
Xibo Windows client Verison 1.7.9

Display is awaiting licensing approval from an Administrator.

Xibo Windows client throwing above message.

I can’t see approve any where in Xibo CMS Diplay or any where.

Any please help me in this regards

Thank you for your message and welcome to the Community!

The message is a reference to Authorising your Player in your CMS, which in version 1.7 CMS is referred to as Licensing. To Authorise/License the Display:

  • Log into your CMS.
  • Go to the Displays option.
  • Click the button at the end of your new Display entry and choose Edit from the menu.
  • You should see an option named Licensed, make sure to set this to Yes and Save to confirm.

Your new Display should now be Approved and ready to go!

Now you can return to your Windows Player and click Launch Client if you are in the Player options application or just start the Xibo Player itself.
