Xibo video going black after a while of playing

Hi,

Since we’ve uploaded a new video for our layout for all xibo client the video plays for a while but then goes black and stops playing anything until we restart the client. Not sure why this is happening so please could you help us? We’re using CMS & client version 1.6.2. Here is the log from one of the clients with the problem:

Kind regards

Hi Jeremy,

I can say that the error messages aren’t related to your issue with video, but I’d recommend fixing those first.

There is a number of possible causes, could you tell me if you:
Are you using proxy? xampp? are you receiving this errors on all of your clients? Are you using windows or android clients? could tell me more about their hardware specifications and how’s the network looks like? Are you host it locally or are you using external hosting services?
Firewall option could also possibly cause it, basically something is closing your connection when it should not.

As for the video itself, what duration settings do you have? How long is it suppose to play? Is it issue with one video or not.

Please provide us with answers to these questions and we should be able to help you further.

Thanks,
Peter
