Xibo Player failling

I am using Xibo as a third party to display some data it displays my videos perfectly but fails to display a grid developed in ExtJs sencha 6, the data Displays well in Preview mode on my browser but on the player it doesnt

Could you please tell us, what CMS and client version do you use?
I assume it’s windows client?

Could you perhaps export your layout so I could have a look at it?
(upload it to dropbox/similar and share the download link here or via pm)

Version 1.7.4

Thank you, it seems to be fine on my windows client.

Could you please install IE 11 and make appropriate registry changes as described here:
Enabling HTML5 in the Windows .net Player

We’d also recommend to upgrade both CMS and the windows client to 1.7.6 version.

I did Exactly that buh I still get a blank Whit screen on the left can I see a screenshot of yours when renderd?

The video or webpage is white for you? (or both)

If video, perhaps some codecs are missing? (try to play it in windows media player)
If webpage, well google.com shouldn’t cause issues in IE, especially if you have IE 11 with this browser emulation change.

Well the Video Displays for me so too does the Google webpage but the
webpage on the right doesnt display its plain white blank

it should be Noted my client is 1.7.6 while the CMS is 1.7.4 could that be
the issue?

hm perhaps…

Could you please:
Click the ‘verify all’ on modules page in CMS
Untick the ‘transparent background’ on this embedded widget
Adjust duration of this embedded widget(give it a bit more than 5s to load)
Let me know if the clock displays fine?

As for 1.7.6, we’d definitely recommend using the CMS/client in the same version, so upgrade to 1.7.6 CMS would be good.

Is there a Log for the Client? so i see whqt exatly is going wrong.
I updated to 1.7.6 for the CMS things seems to get worst, the Player shows my layout for 5secs then returns to the startup screen and stays there each time i start the client

Client has it’s own logs, press “i” to show status screen.

In CMS, you can enable global debugging (on report fault page) and auditing for a display (displays page, edit display, advanced tab)

So if you’d remove the embedded widget (for now) will it play correctly?
I wonder if that’s what causing the problem or is it something else.

As a general advice.
We recommend some simple, not often changed layout set as a default layout for your display.
Then more complex layouts to be scheduled to display.

This way even if there is something wrong with the scheduled content, player will still show the default layout.

[image: Inline image 2]thats my registery is the setting same as yours?

You can download this layout and schedule it on your display device

It will tell you for sure if you are using IE11 or not, so that would be clear then.

I made it work on my 32bit OS machine buh it fails on the 64

path looks good, but shouldn’t it be 11000 (decimal) 2AF8 (hex)?

ie

or 2af8(11000)
