It is not possible to edit a repeated event.

Thank you for your message hhan. I have created a repeating event in my test 2.3.3 CMS but I have been able to edit it without issue. Please confirm the following:

• How have you set up your repeating event?
• What User Type are you logged in as?

Can you also provide some troubleshoot logs so I can see what the error is? To create the logs:

• Go to the Report Fault option in your CMS.
• Follow the steps and Turn on Debugging when the option is available.
• Now choose Open in a new Window and try to edit your Event in that new tab.
• Once you have seen the error again, close the tab and return to the original Report Fault tab.
• Follow the steps and choose Collect and Save to create the troubleshoot logs.
• Finish the remaining steps and Turn off Debugging when the option appears.

You may wish to send the logs in a private message to avoid posting sensitive information publicly on the Forum.

can the problem be the php version (PHP 7.0.8 (VC14 X86 32bit thread safe) + PEAR)?

It is due to the 32 bit php version. I tried it with 64 bit php version and it worked.
Unfortunately I can not use the 64bit php version because then ZeroMQ push communication crashes the Apache when requesting a ScreenShot.
