Xibo and TVheadend

Hello,
a jear ago i played around with TVheadend and Xibo but did not find a good solution.
I now want to ask if anybody has done it yet.

I would like to embed a TVheadend stream into a Xibo layout.

Does anybody have a suggestion?

Hi masterbug.

I’m not familiar with TVHeadend but I can confirm that Xibo supports 2 streaming protocols: HLS and RTSP. Please note that support depends on the player version and operating system you are using. Below are links to the documentation for the widgets used to display HLS or RTSP streams, which I would recommend reading for more information:

HLS:

RTSP:
https://xibo.org.uk/manual/en/media_module_localvideo.html

If TVHeadend does not use HLS or RTSP as a streaming protocol, then it will not be compatible with Xibo.
