Hello,

I’ve been looking for discussions around the topic: Xibo and the display on Android hardware in 4K (UHD Player and 4K Screen).
All the exchanges in this sense go back more than 2 years and showed that Android and 4K did not work.

I would like to update this topic in 2021, as my first tests still on Android, show the inability to set up 4K broadcasts on Android Client with UHD hardware.

Does anyone have a positive experience on 4K display with a Xibo client (preferably Android) and therefore a hardware recommendation?

We have still not seen an Android device that properly supports apps running at 4K resolutions.

There are devices which have special video modes for 4K video playback of a single video, but nothing that allows the app to run at a native 4K resolution.
