I’m having a few problems when i try to add a region to a layout, in xibo cms 2.0.0.
When i post, to add a region it says the layout is not a draft.
But when i see the status, it says it is a draft.

When you checkout the layout, a copy of the layout is made, so you need to make your amendments to the copy and not the original published layout.

How can I find the Layout ID of a draft copy that has already been checked out?
The Checkout API does return the Layout details of the draft copy. I need to save this Layout ID if I intend to continue editing the layout at a later point in time.
It would be nice if we return the “childId”/“draftId” (similar to the "parentId”) as part the GET layout response.
