Windows Player, Fonts & Transitions Not Working?

What’s the catch?

Fresh install of 1.7.8 Server, edited Default Layout, added background from Xibo community, added my images, font, videos.

Fresh install of 1.7.8 Client (Player) on Windows 7 NUC. Installed Font prior to installing Client.

On Text Editor - Font displays properly
On Admin Layout Preview - Font looks perfect, no transitional effects
On Client / Player - No font (looks like it’s defaulting to TNR or something), no transitional effects

I haven’t done anything special, just installed and launched. The machine is a fresh install of Win 7 with all updates, first install of 1.7.8 client (not upgraded or anything).

Extra info: Player also behaves the same on a Windows 10 tablet that was upgraded from 1.7.7 (font installed already, but does not show in player, and no transitional effects)

I feel like I’m missing something obvious?

So, font looks correctly in the layout designer, can you check if it’s in your player local library and in fonts.css file as well?

If it is then it seems that you did everything correctly, perhaps that particular font is just not compatible.

You can send it to me via pm and I’ll check if it works for us.

Hello, I have the same issue. Is it solved yet? The css, and font file is in the folder.
