Hello,

I’m using xibo 4.0.5 and my clients are showing the windows taskbar in front of my xibo client.

normaly, the taskbar hide itself.
how can i hide the task bar ?

Hi, in my installation this happened when there were Windows updates or messages. We got rid of it by switching the player to kiosk mode

does xibo can enable kiosk mode or i have to configure it in windows ?

I found a solution (not clean but working), I created a PowerShell script to detect de xiboclient process and scope on it. the script is loaded at the startup of the machine

How do you switch the xibo player to Kiosk mode?

This happen, in my case, was when the player crashes (Windows 11 Pro) and the player watchdog restarted it again. It crashes every hour or so… Maybe it’s a bug

I have a .reg file to enable it on our players, but that is probably bound to our setup. Basically you start a shell with “C:\Program Files (x86)\Xibo Player\watchdog\x64\XiboClientWatchdog.exe” in Windows kiosk mode
