When assigned the layout to the Xibo dot-netclient the player is not allowing the layout to open the external urls with in the layout itself. But the same thing is working in Xibo-dot-netclient V2 Player as expected?
Thank you for suggestion, we have checked all those mentioned checks. But, no use and not able to solve it.
Our CMS Version is 3.0.0 (not a docker version) and player version is V3 R310
You should use the latest CMS and player app version for the best results (v2 is very old). I can confirm there are no issues with web page widgets using those versions and you should be able to embed a web page.
Please ensure you have permission to embed and display the web page you are using - it is more frequently the case today that websites prevent embedding and newer browsers have tools inside them to respect that.
