When importing fonts the don’t appear in same order as listed. Apparently it seams that the actually font is coming in from the bottom when you choose from the, “font” pull down.
Then after I updated to 1.7.3 added fonts are disappearing from pull down, still in media library and still functioned in layout.

Oh dear - it looks like we included a empty file 
you should be able to bring your fonts back by editing one and clicking save.

I think they are displayed according to when you uploaded them - we should actually force a “by name” ordering so that it is consistent.
