hi everybody,

i would like to get some advices
i wanted to use xibo in a factory in one of our agency without communication with the others.
i wanted to know if i must use ssl to connect my server to the different players
it’s true that the players or the server are connected to internet for rss feeds
but is it mandatory ?

You don’t necessarily need ssl configured on your CMS to access feeds accessible via https

With that being said, it is generally highly recommended to have ssl configured and use https to access CMS and for the players to also connect over https to the CMS.
