Webpage not loading after update

Looks like after the update the Webpage widget doesn’t seem to work anymore.
Even on Preview it doesn’t load.

I think it has something to do with HTTPS sites that it won’t load.

Did you already verified all modules ? most of the time, this will solve your issues with modules.

Sorry how do I do that? I haven’t had this issue before. HTTP sites work fine.

I “verify all” without any errors that I can see, region is still blank. If I use a site without HTTPS it works fine.

Hi, could you provide the URL so that we can test as we don’t appear to have any issues with the webpage widget?

I just tested it again on a new layout, no websites will load now. Just happened after upgrading to 3.3.3.

Do you access your CMS over HTTPS as well?

The update hasn’t changed anything related to how this works, but as time goes by more and more sites are restricting when and where they are allowed to be embedded. That is the case with google - which raises this error:

Refused to display 'https://www.google.ca/' in a frame because it set 'X-Frame-Options' to 'sameorigin'.

I suspect this is only an example - but if the site you’re actually embedding has recently implemented the same policy you would see the same results.

No I don’t use HTTPS.
Yes this is just an example. How do I tell if the site implemented that same policy? Is there a way around it?

I also tried https://xibosignage.com/ as well with the same issue.

Can you try with https://xibosignage.com/ and see if it works for you? I can’t get any site with HTTPS to work, could there be another issue? I only stopped working when I upgraded to v3.3.3.

I uninstalled the Webpage module, but I don’t see where I can reinstall it. Is there an option to reinstall?

If you are running from Docker, just power it down and start them backup.

In case of local CMS, I dont know to be honest, not sure what will happen if you add them manually to custom…
