Is it possible to make the WEBPAGE module work when the device is not connected to the internet? Make the Android client download this content by saving it in cache or something similar capable of making it run without the help of the internet as is done with the image and video modules.

We don’t think it is a good idea for Xibo to “scrape” whole webpages and save them locally for the players to display. Doing something like that is questionable from a legal standpoint and complex from a technical standpoint.

Xibo has the HTML Package module for any web content you want to run in an offline mode, or you can make a custom widget to pull the data and render it (we’re making this easier for v4).

If you can provide some examples of the pages you want to cache offline, perhaps the requirement will become clearer.
