This week one of my clients ask me about a Waiting List Manager, wondering if it could be done in one of our Xibo Clients.
I remember that on the feature list has a “Counter” or anything, that would allow to make this kind of service. Is there any news about this? Some release date?

It was added to interactive signage feature, which will be developed for 1.9 series - Interactive Signage
As Dan has mentioned, its only to ensure the mechanism is in place to allow a counter add-on to be written, not to actually write one.
I any case, any work regarding it will take place in 1.9 series, which will begin after we fully release 1.8 version. (we’ve released the 1.8rc1 yesterday).
We can’t commit to any solid date for 1.9 for now.
