After installing the player for windows and restarting the computer Avast detected a virus as shown in the attached image:
Is there any problem between Avast and Xibo Windows Player?
This is a common false positive. The important thing to check before you allow access to the file is that its installation folder is the same place you installed Xibo (and that you installed Xibo from our published MSI).
The embedded web engine we use in the windows player makes use of a library called CefSharp. CefSharp.BrowserSubprocess.exe is a component of that library which hosts the browser process itself.
Many applications will use the same exe, which is why it gets flagged as a false positive.
